At the beginning of every year, we get caught in this cycle of self-criticism, our achievements, relationships, weight, shape… and most of us start the new year by setting new resolutions; well, it turned out to be almost the same every year!

Today, I would like to share few things I’ve learnt during the past few years, hope it will be helpful:

  • Setting good intentions and resolutions should not be done every year but every Morning.
  • Even if you have plans to follow, be flexible and feel free to modify along the journey; it’s not about being perfect but doing mistakes and adjustments.
  • Don’t feel guilty if your resolutions didn’t last for more than few weeks. Reconsider them… maybe you’re being too harsh on yourself.

Here are some resolutions I would like you to reconsider (or even replace):

  • Start a new diet or reduce calories. Instead “Eat healthy” and reduce inflammation
  • Achieve more. I would say “Celebrate” what you did last year and try to continue your improvements
  • Hard workouts 5 to 6 days a week. Why don’t you Add movements to your life, go to nature and enjoy it?
  • Work Harder. “Reduce stress”, find more time to relax, pray and meditate. Our Life is not about what we do, but who we are.

This year, make your main resolution to “Be Kind” to yourself, appreciate more what you have, and be grateful every morning to be alive; reduce shame & guilt and practice more Self-Love.

It is a New Year. Make sure that the “New You” will always be the same “Beautiful You”.

Wishing you a wonderful year!

With much love,

Your Health Coach.
